To be eligible for the DBW recruitment, candidates must have completed their Matriculation (10th grade) from a recognized board. Additionally, candidates with an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in relevant trades will be given preference:·
Hold a NAC/NTC Certificate issued by NCTVT (now NCVT) in
the AOCP Trade, and is trained in Ordnance Factories under the former Ordnance
Factory Board or Munitions India Limited (MIL), with experience in the
manufacturing and handling of military ammunition and explosives.

Hold a NAC/NTC Certificate issued by NCTVT (now NCVT) in
the AOCP Trade from a government or private organization affiliated with the
government, with candidates having AOCP from a government ITI given
consideration.
Age Limit
The age limit for applicants is between 18 to 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms:- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWD: 10 years
Experience
While prior experience in a related field is not mandatory, it is advantageous for candidates applying for the DBW posts.Application Process

Selection Process
i) Selection of the candidates shall be done based on the
Marks scored in the NCTVT and Trade Test/ Practical test only, in the order of
Merit.
ii) Trade Test will be carried out at Ordnance Factory
Bhandara. Trade Test/ Practical test will be of 100 marks.
iii) Merit list will be prepared based on combined marks
secured in NCTVT Exam and Trade test/Practical Test.
iv) Weightage of Marks in NCTVT Exam and Trade test/Practical
test will be 80% and 20% respectively.
v) Candidates qualifying in the NCTVT and Trade Test/ Practical
test will be called for Document Verification in the order of Merit.
vi) Combined Merit list will be prepared for candidates
trained in AOCP at Ordnance factories and other institutes for applications
against Table A vacancies.
Document Verification
Successful candidates from the skill test will
undergo document verification. It is essential to carry original documents
along with photocopies for verification purposes.
Medical Examination
The final stage is the medical examination to
ensure candidates are physically fit for the job. The medical standards are set
according to the requirements of handling dangerous materials and working in
hazardous environments.
