Konkan
Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) is recruiting 190
Apprentices in 2024. The positions include 94 Graduate Apprentices and 96
Technician Apprentices.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates
are required to register themselves online with the National Apprenticeship
Training Scheme portal and have a valid approved NATS ID; else their
candidature will be rejected at the time of document verification. 2.
Candidates who have passed out within the last 5* years (2020, 2021, 2022,
2023, & 2024) will be considered. (5 years from the date of passing the
qualifying examination and date of joining the apprenticeship training).Candidates must meet the following criteria to apply:
Educational Qualification
Minimum of a Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Technology/ Degree
in Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of
Business Administration / Bachelor of Management Science / Bachelor of Journalism
and Mass Communication / Bachelor of Business Studies from any recognized university.
Age Limit
Minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 25 years as of September 1, 2024
(DOB between 01.09.1999 to 01.09.2006).
There will be
upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for
OBC-NCL candidates, subject to submission of required documents at the time of
document verification.
Stipend
Direct
Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism has been implemented by KRCL for facilitating
payment of the stipend share of Government of India directly to the apprentices
in their bank accounts (Rs.4500/- p.m. for Graduate and Rs.4000/- p.m. for Diploma
holders). In view of above, KRCl will pay balance 50% of Establishment’s share of
stipend as under:
For Graduate
Apprentices: Rs.4500/- p.m.
(Establishment share)
For
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Rs.4000/-
p.m. (Establishment’s share)
NOTE:
Candidates will have to make their own lodging/boarding arrangements during the
period of training.
Application Fee
Candidates
applying for training have to pay the prescribed processing fee as per their category
detailed below:
· For all candidates except the
fee concession categories mentioned below as Sr. no. 2 (Non Refundable): 100/-
· For candidates belonging to SC
/ST/Female/ minorities / Economically Weaker Section: Nil
Selection Process
The selection process consists of:
Written Examination: Test to assess the candidates' knowledge in relevant subjects.
Document Verification: Verification of educational and personal documents.
Interview: Interaction with the selection panel.

Duration: 2 hours
