·        Who can Apply: Candidates who have appeared for JEE (Main) - 2024exam (for B.E/ B. Tech). Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE (Main) Al India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2024 published by NTA.



 


Experience

No prior experience is required. Fresh candidates who meet the educational criteria and age limit can apply.

Born between 02 Jan 2006 and 01 Jul 2008 (both dates inclusive). Ensure you meet this age requirement before applying.


 


Pay Scale

The Indian Navy offers an attractive pay scale and benefits. The pay scale for the Indian Navy 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme is as follows:

 

  • Sub Lieutenant: Pay band of 56,100–177,500/-
  • Lieutenant: Pay band of 61,300–193,900/-
  • Lieutenant Commander: Pay band of 69,400–207,200/-
  • Commander: Pay band of 121,200–212,400/-
  • Captain: Pay band of 130,600–215,900/-
  • Commodore: Pay band of 139,600–217,600/-
  • Rear Admiral: Pay band of 144,200–218,200/-

In addition to the pay scale, officers receive allowances such as:

·        Technical: Technical officers receive a monthly rate of 3,000–7,250/-

·        Instructional: All officers posted as instructors receive a monthly rate of 2,700/-

·        Flying: Qualified pilots and observers receive a monthly rate of 13,500–21,000/-

·        MARCOs: Qualified MARCOs receive a monthly rate of 13,500–21,000/-

·        Submarine: Qualified submariners receive a monthly rate of 13,500–21,000/-.

 

Upon completion of training, the cadets will be absorbed into regular services, where they will be entitled to a salary as per the 7th Pay Matrix Level 10. This translates to a monthly salary ranging from ₹56,100/- to ₹1,77,500/-, equivalent to the old pay band ₹15,600-39,100/- with a Grade Pay of ₹5400/-.


 


Selection Procedure

The selection process for the Indian Navy 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme 2024 involves the following steps:

 

1.    Shortlisting of Applications: Based on JEE (Main) 2024 All India Rank.


2.    SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, which consists of two stages:

o    Stage I: Intelligence Test, Picture Perception, and Group Discussion.

o    Stage II: Psychological Testing, Group Tasks, and Personal Interview.


3.    Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify in the SSB will undergo a thorough medical examination.
