Sevak (GDS) for a total of 21413 vacancies for the post of Branch Postmaster
(BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak. 10th-passed candidates

GDS Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To
apply for GDS Recruitment 2025, candidates need to meet the required
eligibility criteria that consist of fulfilling the age limit and educational
qualifications. Given below are the eligibility criteria for the same:
Educational Qualification
Candidates
must have passed 10th standard from a recognized board:

Age Limit

must be between 18 to 40 years as on the last date of application. Age
relaxation will be applicable as per government norms.
Pay Scale
Selected
candidates will receive a pay scale as per the norms of the India Post Office:
BPM: Rs.12,000/- to Rs.29,380/- per
month.
ABPM/Dak
Sevak:
Rs.10,000/- to Rs.24,470/- per month.
Selection Procedure
The
selection process will be based on the merit list generated from the marks
obtained in the 10th standard:

Merit List 2025: There will be no exam for this recruitment. The selection
will be done on the basis of a system-generated merit list. The Merit list will
be prepared based on marks obtained/ conversion of Grades/Points to marks in
the 10th Exam aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals.

Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted in the merit
list will undergo document verification.
·
Medical Fitness Test: If required, candidates must pass a basic medical fitness
test
